🤍 FRANKLIN COUNTY, TOGETHER. 🤍
I've had something on my heart for a while, and I'm finally putting it into action.
When tragedy strikes a family in our community, I always want to help. But I find myself wondering whether I should organize a fundraiser, whether someone else already has something planned, or whether it's appropriate to reach out.
And the truth is, when a family is facing one of the hardest moments of their lives, they need help right then.
So I'm introducing something new through Gloat Designs.
🤍 GLOAT GIVES — FRANKLIN COUNTY, TOGETHER.
This will be a permanent shirt design, available year-round, with 100% of the profits going into a dedicated fund to help local families with minor children facing unexpected, life-changing circumstances.
I'm talking about things like a child receiving a devastating diagnosis, a serious accident, or the unexpected loss of a parent. Situations where a mom or dad suddenly has to put their entire life on hold, often including their ability to work.
My goal is simple: to have money already available when a family needs it most.
No waiting weeks to organize a fundraiser. No asking a grieving family to share their story. Just immediate help when life changes in an instant.
🤍 TRANSPARENCY IS IMPORTANT TO ME.
I want everyone who supports this initiative to know exactly where their money is going.
I will be completely transparent about how much money is raised through shirt sales, the actual costs of producing those shirts, and how much profit goes into the fund.
I'll provide updates on the fund balance and will announce every time financial assistance is distributed.
If a family wishes to remain anonymous, their privacy will always be respected. I'll still share the amount donated and update the fund balance, without identifying the family or sharing details that could reveal their identity.
I want you to be able to see the difference your purchase is making, from the very first shirt sold to every dollar given back.
I'll also be reaching out to local schools to help identify families who may need assistance, while respecting their privacy.
This isn't a fundraiser for one family or one tragedy. It's a way for our community to be prepared for the next family who needs us.
You don't have to purchase a shirt to care about your community. But when you do purchase one of these, you'll know that every dollar of profit is being saved for a local family facing an unimaginable hardship.
Because we're more than neighboring towns and school rivalries.
We're Franklin County. And we're in this together. 🤍
